Livpure - Gravity Water Purifiers
With many water purification options in the market today, we are spoilt for choices- RO, UV, UF water purification systems dominate the market. Gravity water filter is a traditional water purification system that has been around for centuries, and now we get to see modern technology added to it to make it more efficient and make drinking water purer. It is a budget-friendly choice to get pure drinking water. Livpure’s latest addition- the Brahma Neo Gravity water purifier is one such product that will give you a 4-stage filtered, chemical-free pure drinking water every day.
What is a gravity filter?
A Gravity filter is a non-electric water purifier that enables you to filter polluted or contaminated water with the assistance of gravity. It sounds too broad, but let us help you bring some clarity. This device consists of two chambers, the upper chamber, and also the lower chamber. The upper chamber is where you pour in your contaminated source water, and therefore the lower chamber is the finishing line where the pure, drinking water will get poured into after filtration.
How does it work?
The upper chamber of the gravity filter contains a part that takes care of the filtering process of your contaminated water. That element consists of microscopic pores that disable the contaminants and other pollutants from passing through it, which leaves only the water to go to that microporous element going to the lower chamber. Now, you can have your filtered water, which is prepared and made safe for drinking.
But then again, because of the increasing number of water purifier manufacturers, some may have many different elements in their chambers that allow them to filter water effectively. Generally, the concept behind the gravity filter has two sets of the chamber and a mediator in between the chambers. This mediator acts on its own in the filtration machine by letting the contaminated water taste natural while leaving all the contaminants and pollutants behind when the water transfers to the lower chamber. Livpure’s Brahma Neo Gravity water purifier uses 4 levels of water purification technology. The particulate filter filters out the solid particles. USEPA registered disinfectant technology removes bacteria and cysts. The sediment filter removes sand, dust, silt, and rust particles. Bacteriostatic activated carbon filter cum absorber removes organic impurities like chlorine.
